Pearl Fiber is one of main materials under PEARL CARE. It is a kind of new type fiber
researched and developed by Donghua University along with its partner, Shanghai New Spinning Material Developing
Center. This type of fiber, which is celebrated as the original high-class functional fiber, is made from the
fine natural pearls, the raw materials, which, by high technology, and processed into 300 Nano-meter grade
superfine pearl powders and added to the fiber while spinning. The application for the patent for this fiber
submitted in 2004 and succeeded in 2008. In the same year, this fiber won the second prize of national
development of science and technology. Patent number: ZL200410067962.5.
